Högbo Outdoor Recreation Area
Högbo Bruk has a large and well-built outdoors recreation area
maintained by the Town of Sandviken. Running trails, cross-country
ski trails, bathing spots, and an entire network of rest-cabins is
located in the area.
Canoes, cross-country skis, and ice skates, can be
rented. The rest cabins stay open year round from 7:30 am to
3:30 pm. They are located along the hiking and walking trails. Many
of the cabins are heated in the wintertime and wood is available
for open fires in the fireplaces. The cabins are handicap
accessible.
