Cooking

Prepare your own feast together with one of our professional chefs! The group will prepare a three-course dinner and every participant will receive a recipe and a certificate to take home. The cooking takes place in the New Estate and the event ends with a dinner.

• For 10-15 people. In case of a larger group, smaller groups will be formed.
• Time: about 5 hours including dinner

Wine or whiskey tasting

Choose between wine and whiskey. Try a specific wine region or grape, with direction from a Sommelier (Wine steward). For our whiskey tasting, we work in partnership with Mackmyra Swedish Whiskey. They hold tasting for groups, both at our hotel and at their distillery in Mackmyra in combination with a guided tour.

Chocolate tasting

Become an expert on chocolate! What are the differences? How does the cocoa content influence the taste? What drinks go well with chocolate? A brief history, from the cocoa bean to ready-to-eat chocolate, and much more.

SPA

If you are looking to relax, we recommend reserving a time at our SPA. Let your conference participants choose one of our treatments- a relaxing massage, a facial treatment, or a nice healing bath. For the entire group, Qigong or Nordic Walking is the perfect activity. End the session with some time by the pool or in the sauna.

Wood Heated Tubs and Sauna Raft

Take a warm and soothing bath on the shore of a beautiful lake or somewhere else on the estate. An appreciated activity all year round. Can be combined with other activities and excursions.

Golf at Högbo Bruk

Högbo Golf Club has an 18-hole and a 9-hole golf course, driving range, and putting green. Schedule a group lesson and practice your chips and drives.

Historic people at Högbo Bruk

Colonel Hans Hierta, Consul Göran Fredrik Göransson, and Mill Mistress Chatarina Cederström, all have greatly influenced the history of Högbo Bruk. Now you can reserve one of them, as a guest who can tell stories from their time here on the Estate. The event is organized in partnership with the company, Prodo.

Murder at the Estate

Let your co-workers join forces to solve an exciting murder mystery! During the night you will experience the drama in helping find the answer to the mysterious murder. You will meet different characters that live on the manor and hear each one of their stories of what happened. The Murder mystery is arranged in partnership with the Spegel theatre in Stockholm.

• For 15-50 people
• Time: 3,5 hours including a three-course dinner 
• Season: year round

Forging & Glass Blowing

Spend a few hours with one of our artisans in the old industrial community. Our Blacksmith, Johan, will guide you through the craft of heating up iron and teach you how to manufacture your own hand-made nail or hook. The Glass blower, Björn Steinjer, shows and explains the exciting process of blowing glass.

• Time: 1,5-2 hours

We work together with adventure guides when it comes to most of our outdoors activities. They offer a wide range of activities to choose from. Contact us for more information. Some examples are:
