Gamla Herrgården

Gamla Herrgården was built by colonel Hans Hierta in 1737-39. This old manor house is a little smaller than the new one, and here is the creaking in the floorboards a bit more noticeable, ceiling paintings, crystal chandeliers and ornaments that echoes the history of Högbo Bruk. Suitable for a little smaller wedding party or other celebrations.

In Gamla Herrgården we set the table for the smaller company, up to 18 people in the dining room, where the atmosphere takes you back to late Gustavian times and the turn of the century 1700 - 1800.

The Baroque Hall with the astonishing ceiling paintings from the early 1700's, can seat up to 50 people for dinner in the Hiertas dining room. Here was the dining room when the house was built and it is the room that with great effect takes you back to the time when the Hierta couple lived.
