Traditional Christmas Buffet
In the beautiful Nya Herrgården, we serve our much-loved traditional Christmas buffet. The produce from Högbo Bruk takes centre stage, with each dish reflecting our craftsmanship and deep connection to the region.
Expect classic pickled herring, locally made cheeses and bread baked with the spent grain from Högbo’s own brewery downstairs. Enjoy our cured meats with the perfect balance of salt and smoke, warm dishes with Valbo potatoes and fermented vegetables from our gardens. Round off with desserts from our pastry chefs and handmade chocolate by our chocolatier Adrian, served with coffee at your table.
Our drinks menu features beer from our own brewmaster, schnapps from Tevsjö spiced with our own blends and liqueurs infused with the flavours of Högbo. This year’s Christmas buffet offers a taste experience that feels both familiar and full of pleasant surprises.
After a good night’s sleep in one of our comfortable rooms, a generous breakfast buffet awaits. You will find yoghurt and cheese from our own dairy, cold cuts from Swedish farms, bread from our bakery, organic coffee from Lindvalls and of course a few pancakes to finish with.
As always at Högbo Bruk, nature, history and craftsmanship are right outside your door. Take the opportunity to explore, unwind and discover something new during your stay. You also have free access to our gym and complimentary parking at the hotel.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 3:00 PM
Check-out by 11:00 AM
Late check-out is available subject to availability for a fee of 300 SEK.
If you arrive earlier on your check-in day, you are welcome to leave your luggage in our luggage room and enjoy our lovely hotel environment or the bustling surroundings of the old ironworks.
What are the cancellation policies?
With cancellation protection, you can cancel or rebook until 4:00 PM the day before arrival. Without cancellation protection, you can cancel or change your booking free of charge up to five days before arrival.
Where can I park?
We offer free parking for all our guests. You can easily park close to your hotel room, whether you are staying in the Main Building, Stallbacken, Smedbacken, or Sportbacken. It is also possible to charge your electric or hybrid car at both the Main Building and Stallbacken. For electric vehicle charging, you can easily pay via a QR code on-site.
You do not need a parking permit; simply park in any available space.
Are there charging stations for electric cars?
Yes! We have eight charging points (Type 2, 11 kWh) at the Main Building and four at Stallbacken. These cannot be pre-booked; you simply park in any available spot.
For electric vehicle charging, you can easily pay via a QR code on-site.
Are dogs allowed in the restaurant?
You are welcome to bring your four-legged friend to the Orangerie, the bar, and the lobby. Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant. We also have hotel rooms where dogs are welcome. Read more about staying with a dog.
Can we choose from the menu for the four-course dinner?
If you are a group of fewer than eight people, you can choose from the menu on-site. For groups larger than eight, we will send you a menu proposal to choose from in advance.
Is there a luggage room?
Certainly. We have a locked luggage room at the reception where you are welcome to leave your bags before checking in or after checking out.
