This culinary experience takes you on a journey through the flavours of Christmas, created by our chefs to awaken every sense. As it should be, food that is not only delicious and beautifully presented, but also crafted with care for people and nature. The best of both worlds, simply.
In the beautiful Nya Herrgården, we serve our much-loved traditional Christmas buffet. The produce from Högbo Bruk takes centre stage, with each dish reflecting our craftsmanship and deep connection to the region.
Expect classic pickled herring, locally made cheeses and bread baked with the spent grain from Högbo’s own brewery downstairs. Enjoy our cured meats with the perfect balance of salt and smoke, warm dishes with Valbo potatoes and fermented vegetables from our gardens. Round off with desserts from our pastry chefs and handmade chocolate by our chocolatier Adrian, served with coffee at your table.
Our drinks menu features beer from our own brewmaster, schnapps from Tevsjö spiced with our own blends and liqueurs infused with the flavours of Högbo. This year’s Christmas buffet offers a taste experience that feels both familiar and full of pleasant surprises.
After a good night’s sleep in one of our comfortable rooms, a generous breakfast buffet awaits. You will find yoghurt and cheese from our own dairy, cold cuts from Swedish farms, bread from our bakery, organic coffee from Lindvalls and of course a few pancakes to finish with.
As always at Högbo Bruk, nature, history and craftsmanship are right outside your door. Take the opportunity to explore, unwind and discover something new during your stay. You also have free access to our gym and complimentary parking at the hotel.

Late check-out can be added upon availability, surcharge of 300 SEK.
If you arrive earlier on the day of arrival, you are welcome to leave your luggage in our luggage room and stay in our lovely hotel environment or outside in the noisy use environment.
Cancellation protection allows you to cancel or rebook until 16:00 the day before arrival. Without cancellation protection, you can cancel or move your reservation free of charge five days before arrival.
We offer free parking for all our guests. You can easily park near your hotel room, whether you are staying in the Main Building, Stallbacken, Smedbacken or Sportbacken. It is also possible to charge your electric slide or hybrid at both the Main Building and Stallbacken.
You do not need a parking pass when you park, but simply stand in any parking space.
Yay! We have eight outlets (type 2.11 kWh) at the Main building and four outlets at Stallbacken. These cannot be pre-booked, but you are allowed to sit where it is free.

You can bring your four-legged friend to the Orangery, the bar and the lobby. We do not allow dogs in the restaurant. We also have hotel rooms where dogs are welcome. Read more about accommodation with a dog.
If you have fewer than eight people, you can choose from menu. If the group is more than eight, we will send you a menu proposal that you choose from in advance.
Of course. We have a locked luggage room at reception where you are welcome to hand in your luggage before checking in or when you check out.
