Spa & bistro
Put on the soft bathrobe and step in The spa where the pulse goes down and time for pleasure takes its place. Sit down in the soft lounge areas around the campfire or under the glare of the sun. Cool off with the cold water bucket or soften your body inside one of our various sauna concepts or the sparkling outdoor pools. Rub your feet in a foot bath and take a few long swims in the indoor pool. The spa bar is open throughout your stay and serves healthy drinks and simple food.
In the evening you are welcome to the bistro for a relaxed dinner. A simple main course is included in the package, if you want to add something, it is easy to do on site. Here we serve, among other things, flatbread à la Högbo from the hot pizza oven, charcuterie, a delicious stew and toast Skagen. The bistro is located by the Orangeriet where it is easy to relax and cozy up into the evening. Play games, sit in front of the fire or order something from the Swedish bar with, among other things, beer from our own beer workshop. Non-alcoholic options can of course also be ordered.
Before or after your time in the Spa, there is time to discover the area. As you probably know, there is a lot to see and do at Högbo Bruk. Possibly a scenic walk on the forest trail around the lake is suitable.
Hotel breakfast
Our generous breakfast buffet is always included. Choose from homemade cold cuts, freshly baked bread from our bakery and vegetables, cheese and salads from our own farm. The eggs are organic from Alsbo. A breakfast to enjoy – in peace and quiet.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 3:00 PM
Check-out by 11:00 AM
Late check-out is available subject to availability for a fee of 300 SEK.
If you arrive earlier on your check-in day, you are welcome to leave your luggage in our luggage room and enjoy our lovely hotel environment or the bustling surroundings of the old ironworks.
What are the cancellation policies?
With cancellation protection, you can cancel or rebook until 4:00 PM the day before arrival. Without cancellation protection, you can cancel or change your booking free of charge up to five days before arrival.
Where can I park?
We offer free parking for all our guests. You can easily park close to your hotel room, whether you are staying in the Main Building, Stallbacken, Smedbacken, or Sportbacken. It is also possible to charge your electric or hybrid car at both the Main Building and Stallbacken. For electric vehicle charging, you can easily pay via a QR code on-site.
You do not need a parking permit; simply park in any available space.
Are there charging stations for electric cars?
Yes! We have eight charging points (Type 2, 11 kWh) at the Main Building and four at Stallbacken. These cannot be pre-booked; you simply park in any available spot.
For electric vehicle charging, you can easily pay via a QR code on-site.
Are dogs allowed in the restaurant?
You are welcome to bring your four-legged friend to the Orangerie, the bar, and the lobby. Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant. We also have hotel rooms where dogs are welcome. Read more about staying with a dog.
Can we choose from the menu for the four-course dinner?
If you are a group of fewer than eight people, you can choose from the menu on-site. For groups larger than eight, we will send you a menu proposal to choose from in advance.
Is there a luggage room?
Certainly. We have a locked luggage room at the reception where you are welcome to leave your bags before checking in or after checking out.
